You Are Being Birthed As The New Wineskin

pt 1 - October 2022 word of the Lord

The Spirit of the Lord is saying “to the ones who have allowed Me to shape and shed you over the past three years, I am now about to birth you into the greater fullness of who I have called you to be in the earth.

You thought that the new wineskin would be found in a new method, a new moment, a new movement, and a new ministry monument. But no, you are the wineskin I have been preparing all this time.

You asked “Lord extend the place of my tent, enlarge my territory, Lord here I am send me”. And here I have been enlarging, extending, increasing your capacity and preparing for your sending, bringing you to this very place of birthing you. Right to the point you thought you would burst and break as I have confined you in the narrow places, pressing, crushing you by my hand to bring forth the finest oil, wine and grain without mixture and taint. Across every generation I am birthing living, breathing vessels of increased spiritual maturity to be carriers of My glory.

Even the youngest child will direct with visions and the fire of My Spirit in their mouths, and the eldest will burn with zeal of their best days.

I Am doing so to prepare you, to prepare My bride, to preserve you for the turbulent days to come that there would be an established remnant in the earth remaining steadfast, overflowing in My Spirit, and unshakeable in their love for Me.

I Am birthing you into place, into community fellowship of family. Those who have been seeking their resting place to set down new roots to grow deep, those who have been in their transition phase of the labouring, longing for a spiritual home of belonging. Those who have broken away from the old, resisting the urge to return just for a sense of security, but have dared to allow Me hold them in the palm of My hand alone.

I am now setting you as a jewel in a ring, in a place of covenantal relationship. I will settle you over these next 3months from your wandering exactly where I would have you, and with whom you belong and will commit to for these next 7years.

While it is the desire of your heart, you will still need to trust that you can open your hearts and lives to one another and not hold back or pull away when it makes you uncomfortable.

I am calling you to also advance in the face of spiritual opposition not to withdraw in intimidation, advance with selfless love. You have forgotten what the spiritual warrior in you looks like but I have not. You had forgotten your true position of authority, being blown to and fro by circumstances, inwardly divided by fear, doubt and double mindedness. But I have been rousing the overcomer in you from its dormancy, asking for your surrendered and unwavering ‘yes’ to lead you as Lord, to trust Me in ways you have never needed to before. Will you give it to Me now and refuse to turn back?

I Am asking you to raise your faith, you are still believing too small of Me. Will you choose to trust Me to do what only I can do, or will you still choose self dependance? I long to be Lord of your life, you need to surrender your rights to rule your days on your own terms.

To My Bride still resisting My shaping and crushing, you will now need to quickly bend or be broken under the weight of what I am doing. My grace is lifting off as the year comes to an end, from the invitation I have placed before you over these previous three years, and in the areas where you have resisted Me and My ways will now move you into rebellion against Me. It is not a time to be playing at ‘Christian’ games and facades, but to be fully awakened and activated into the responsibility and sobriety of this season. Kill your pride, kill your independence, kill your petty agendas, kill your strife and striving and allow the death process I am requiring that I may be able to bring the re-birthing in you and in the earth that I am desiring. More hinges on your response at this time than you realise.

“The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified and exalted. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone [just one grain, never more]. But if it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest. The one who loves his life[eventually] loses it [through death], but the one who hates his life in this world [and is concerned with pleasing God] will keep it for life eternal. If anyone serves Me, he must [continue to faithfully] follow Me [without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]; and wherever I am [in heaven’s glory], there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honour him.” John 12:23-26

For those who would seek, this is My promise of a future harvest .. “It will come about in that day that I will respond,” says the Lord. “I will respond to the heavens [which ask for rain to pour on the earth], and they will respond to the earth [which begs for the rain], And the earth shall respond to the grain and the new wine and the oil [which beg it to bring them forth], And they will respond to Jezreel [My Israel, who will now be restored]. “I will sow her for Myself in the land. I will also have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; And I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people,’ And they will say, ‘You are my God!’” Hosea 2:21-23
