I the Lord say to you, the sidelined anointed voices of those I have called and marked as ones that lead forth My Bride in processions of worship. You are not forgotten, I have not forgotten you. The sojourning of the last five years has caused a weariness, an ache, a displacement and a multitude of questions in your heart. Where you knew you could no longer squeeze yourself into a shifting framework of nuts and bolts, you felt the languish of your spirit-man, yet had no words to articulate, and limited ability to comprehend your why. The why that you could not perceive, was in the wider frame of My hand upon My Body, My Bride, moving, shaking, breaking Her in the early stages of transition. Your spirit felt Me moving, yet there was nowhere yet to find your feet. For the work of My hand is yet incomplete in Her.
So on the sidelines, you made your home, but it was only ever meant to be a temporary dwelling. You privately grieved the season and wrestled the pains. Aware of the inner loneliness of all that was misunderstood. Your questions hanging in the air like a veil between My presence. You thirst, yet wonder if you will ever be filled again. Your voice, like someone who has stolen the keys. Who has stolen your offerings of worship and praise? He who has robbed your keys. He, the accuser of the brethren
(Rev 12:10), lied that your authority and call had been revoked, so you left your keys in the door, unattended for the taking. So your voice was shut away in the prison of the silent pain and exhaustion of it all.
You thought the last season broke you. But instead of a breakdown, I was, and I Am, breaking you through. I Am orchestrating plans of a prison break of your soul and voice.
There is to be no more camping out around the fires of other sojourners trading ghost stories of old wounds. Put out those fires that can no longer warm you, and begin your travels again. You were never broken in the ways you supposed. For what you mistook as a sideline benching for lack of team sportsmanship, player inadequacy or injury, was really a setting apart season in time. So that I could begin to unravel the tangles and reknit you within. To tend to the field knocks of the games, where you couldn’t distract your attention away from the bruising any longer.
I preserved you for what I Am now inviting you forward into if you are willing to be tested at the threshold. You say ‘But haven’t I been through the wringer enough?!’ But this is not that kind of test. You need to be able to choose to take your keys back, take up your authority again, leave your fears of vulnerability and what feels unresolved behind that old door as it closes behind you. At the threshold I will ask for your heart, I will ask for your voice, where your spirit must cry out ‘Here I am again Lord, this is all of me laid bare, a surrendered life wholly unto your name. May my mouth be filled with your praises all the days of my life once again’. For I lift up those who are bowed low. I set the prisoners free, I give sight to those who cannot see, I watch over those far from home, those without fathers, and the widows
(Psalm 146). I Am the lifter of your head, shifting your eyes and gaze from the state of self-evaluation of your inner world. I have put My wholeness inside of you, that I might break you apart with worship like a vessel of expensive perfume poured out.
Come into view now, no more shrinking back into shadows. You are not coming into that which has passed, but that which will be formed. Stand in the threshold as a sign and wonder that the anointing of the Lord breaks the yoke of burden (Isaiah 10:27). Stand in the threshold that all who take up My invitation must cross. Be the ones that usher them through in holy procession, that Sauls may be found amongst the prophets and prophetic worshippers as I transition My Bride through to the end of this decade, and into an era where She knows what it is to reign and rule (1 Sam 10 - Saul is transfigured as the Spirit of the Lord comes upon him). In cities of confusion and chaos, you will lift up battle cries of praise and worship, and songs of My every victory. I will give my people territory as you make decrees in prophetic songs and sound. They will be specific and varied in every place that I call you to, that you may not attempt to replicate My works or anointing. Whole regions will hear the spiritual shackles begin to break, people will even hear this with their own ears as a sign of what I Am doing in the earth.
Those who have held the platforms that you had left behind, will now be led by you away from the applause of man and indulgence as they meet Me at the gates to be led out, their hearts laid exposed before Me. My anointing they have tried and sought for so long, they now again come to rejoice in. Bring all those who will come.
Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. For I Am the Lord Almighty, your King of glory, strong and mighty in battle. Be lifted up now, stand yourselves up, shake off the dust, take up your keys and lose your voices as you take your place at the gates singing...“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob”. Psalm 24
