Springs of Living Water

Isaiah 41:17-20

In a vision God lifted me high above and I looked out over the land of Aotearoa. As I looked I saw wellsprings start to form and open up all across the land. I saw the most beautiful crystal clean, pure, sparkling water begin to bubble up in the springs. It was gentle and peaceful. It bubbled up and then slowly started to overflow the spring and seep out and across the land. The springs kept bubbling and soon the whole land was covered with beautiful clean pure water that just kept getting deeper and deeper. It felt so beautiful and peaceful and pure.

The Lord is saying, I am releasing my living water. It is bubbling forth. You, My people, are my wellsprings. I am raising you up. You will emerge and become visible where you have been hidden and underground.

My pure living water, which is my Spirit, will flow through you. Untainted and uncontaminated, flowing through a people who have been sanctified, cleansed, renewed, and set apart.

Allow Me to lift off and remove all your limitations and hindrances, so you may bubble forth and flow continuously. You don't need to strive, this comes easy when you are one with Me, the source.

As you drink my living water, you will become a spring of water welling up. As you step out unhindered in the gifts and mantles I have given you, and as you release what I have stored up deep within you, the bubbling will increase and I will cause My water to overflow out around you.

My living water will purify, sanctify and cleanse. It is not threatening, torrential or scary. It is easy, it is gentle. It restores, it refreshes, it renews. Soak in it, enjoy it, embrace it, float and laugh for Joy at what I am doing.

The Lord asks, will you be My wellsprings? Will you partner with Me and be plumbed into the true source, so that you may bubble over and over and over and out?

Lord, we respond by acknowledging you ask us to be untainted, pure and sanctified.

We ask you Lord to reveal any impurities in us, anything that would taint our flow.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals, break agreement with those things.

We ask you Lord to wash away any impurities in us and to sanctify and consecrate our hearts, minds, bodies and souls. (Joshua 3:5, 2 Chronicles 29:3-5)

Lord, we respond by acknowledging you want us to be open unrestricted wellsprings, bubbling forth.

We ask you Lord to reveal any mindsets, structures and ways you desire for us to lay down. Reveal any areas of our ministries and lives where you want us to unlearn the old, and lean in to learn the new. Reveal to us any wrong beliefs or fears we hold about you God and your Holy Spirit. Reveal any areas where your truth, Lord, is not our foundation.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals, break agreement with those things.

We ask you Lord to renew and refresh our minds and hearts with your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth that leads us to all truth (John 16:13). We acknowledge Lord that our lives need to be built on a foundation of truth found in Jesus (Matthew 16:18, John 17: 15-19)

Lord, we respond by acknowledging the source is you, and that any other source will not sustain.

We ask you Lord to reveal any area where we are leaning on other sources other than you.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals and break agreement with those things.

We acknowledge our total reliance on you God, and that the living water is your Spirit, the Holy Spirit. We ask you Lord to plumb us in to the source and we ask for a fresh infilling of your living water (John 4:13; 4:23-24)

Lord, we respond by acknowledging that it is easy when we partner with you.

We ask you Lord to reveal where we have been striving, operating from a works mentality and partnering with the works of the flesh to build our faith and ministries.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals, and break agreement with those things.

We agree Lord that your burden is easy and your yoke is light, and that it is not by might or power, but by your Spirit Lord (Zechariah 4:6).

Lord, we respond by acknowledging that your living water will bubble forth from us when we are in partnership

with you and others.

We ask you Lord to reveal any gifts or callings you would like us to step out and grow in. We ask you to reveal any areas we have not walked in unity and family, we ask you to reveal anything that is holding us back from being woven into the body.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals, break agreement with those things.

Lord we confess our deep need for others and our need to be woven into the Spiritual body of believers you have placed around us. We decree to honour others and the differences we all have, acknowledging what Christ has put in them. We ask you Lord to activate our gifts, and to give us greater humility and boldness as we step out in our mantles. (1 Cor 12)

Lord, we respond by acknowledging that we become your wellsprings when we partner with your Spirit.

We ask you Lord to reveal where we have knowingly or unknowingly stifled and contained your Spirit. Reveal to us any blockages that are preventing us from receiving your living water or causing us to restrict the flow.

Repent of anything the Lord reveals, and break agreement with those things.

We ask you Lord to give us a greater awareness of your Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries. We agree with the truth shown, that your living water is gentle, beautiful and joy-filled. We choose to partner with you Holy Spirit and what you are doing, we give you room, help us to not restrict, hinder or contain your flow. (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21)

As we repent, turn to God and purify the wellsprings (us), God will pour out his Spirit in us and through us. Acts 3:19-21 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
