Awakening The Dormant Seeds

In a vision I was lifted up and looked across the land of Aotearoa. I then saw that it was covered in seeds, there was an abundance of seeds everywhere, thickly covering the land.

I then saw God breathe over the land and the seeds started to awaken and come to life. They came out of dormancy and began to sprout. New life then emerged across the land. These seeds grew into large trees that were healthy and full of life. The trees were diverse and interconnected across the land.

The Spirit of the Lord says

“I will release my breath on you My people, and then you will go forth into the land and release My breath of life onto the dormant seeds of the land of Aotearoa. These seeds have been sowed over many generations; some are from ancient history and some are more recent.

These seeds are deposits released from Me to people. Seeds of destiny, purpose, callings, dreams, giftings, mantles, divine strategies, divine creativity, fruitfulness, and seeds of salvation.

The seeds have been dormant for a season. Some were laid down and walked away from, some were never picked up and activated, many have been forgotten about. Some have been laid down because of discouragement, disappointment, hurts, challenges and unmet expectations. Some were seeded but then walked away from, forgotten about and distant. Some have simply been put on the shelf and never activated. But now is the time for the awakening of the seeds.

My people I am calling you now to rise up - to receive My breath - and to go out into the land and release what I have given you. As you release My words, My Spirit, and My power out onto the land the seeds will awaken and new life will come forth. My breath will release fresh faith, awakening and expectation into the land.

All you need to do is ask. Ask and you will receive this fresh anointing, My holy breath of life, make room for Me, make space for Me, open the door and let Me in (Matthew 7:7)

Just as Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones and they came to life (Ezk 37:4-6), you will release My breath of life over Aotearoa and see an awakening of the seeds of destiny over your people and over your land.

These seeds will grow to be mighty trees of righteousness, for Aotearoa will be a nation of mighty trees of righteousness, standing tall and firm and established in Me, full of life and nourishment and a home/shelter to many (Isaiah 61:3). My mighty trees do not all look the same, as I have created you all unique and diverse, to carry the specific purpose I have called you to.

Just as in the forest there is an ecosystem that allows new growth to come forth and be established, My people you will need to steward these seeds as they come to life. For the seeds to flourish and be established they need to be connected into an interdependent ecosystem of life-giving kingdom-family relationships. These ecosystems will be places of empowerment, equipping, encouragement, accountability, and learning truth. These kingdom-family relationships will nurture these tender fragile seeds into mighty trees. I am calling My mighty trees to arise and establish these interconnected ecosystems that are life-giving, diverse, sustainable and healthy. Ecosystems that provide protection and nourishment for My new shoots to become established. My mighty trees arise and establish yourselves and clean the air around you. I have given you the authority to clean up the spiritual atmospheres around you so people can see clearly, have peace, and come into their right minds (Matt 18:18).

So rise up My people, receive My holy breath I am releasing over you, a fresh new anointing that I am releasing in this time. Go out to the land declaring and releasing life over the dormant seeds and establishing My kingdom."

Activation/Reflection:

Make room and space to sit with God, and in this space ask Him to release His holy breath of life over you.

Make room and space to sit with God, and ask Him if there is anything you need to do to tend to the soil of your heart to be able to receive the seeds He has for you personally. Ask Him to heal, restore and bring truth to anything He reveals.

Make room and space to sit with God, and ask Him if there are any seeds dormant in your life that He wants to awaken. Ask Him to breathe His holy breath of life onto the seeds He reveals.

Ask God to reveal to you any dormant seeds in the people around you. Your friends, family, co-workers, strangers even. Speak life and release God’s breath over the seeds He reveals to you.

Reflect on your interconnectedness, are you part of a kingdom-family ecosystem, are you in need of finding one so you can grow, or is God calling you to establish one.

For the mature trees: God is calling you to establish yourself as a firm strong tree of righteousness in the nation. Clear the spiritual atmospheres around you and clean the air around you. Start to build an ecosystem of kingdom-family around you, relationships that are intentional, creating space for empowerment, equipping, encouragement, accountability, and learning truth together as a community. A kingdom-family with open doors that welcomes fresh new shoots in, to be nourished, cared for and established. Spiritual maturity is not linked to physical age, do not despise the younger trees that are actually mature in the Spirit that God is raising up at this time and calling to establish healthy kingdom ecosystems. These ecosystems will be diverse, and will need to be connected and interwoven across the land, interdependent - not independent.
